A well-known one got me an idea for this text, namely he had published a celebrity on Facebook and YouTube in which he thought about whether YouTubers or streamers like Montana Black are role models or not.

He came to the conclusion that these are not role models and that it is unnecessary to attack or even condemn them. I disagree, because now a modified saying comes from a film ‘With great reach comes great power’.

“With great power comes great responsibility.”
From Spider-Man

What do I mean by that, if you are like Montana Black the biggest streamer Germany, then you have a large audience and since your audience is still quite young, you have a special responsibility to go to and is, whether you want or not, a role model because the young viewers make you their idol and poor exactly according to what they do, say and make.

In the controversial discussion with my acquaintances, I also raised the objection that if he has children himself, he is guaranteed not to find good if you would follow someone or be big fans of someone who then says that you do not have to do a job, but can also live on Hartz IV.

Then Montana Black had said in a video himself, if this with the videos no longer runs, then he just lives smoothly again from Hartz IV and even if he did not mean that seriously so take his young viewers seriously.

‘If that doesn’t work anymore with the videos, I just live against Hart IV.’
Montana Black

Now let's think about what this means and the end effect the young people get said school and education everything not important you can also from the job center life, which pays heavily for you or all others who finance the state with their taxes end effect oneself why you should then go to work, why you should still make an effort at all.

This is only part of the argument that I accuse such a person as Montana Black, the other is, he plays gambling in public, where it is about real money, he as a gambling addict or as he himself says, formerly a gambling addict should know how bad and dangerous gambling can be and should leave his fingers off or leave his fingers off in his streams.

Apart from the purely legal component, this approach is probably more than reprehensible because it instigates, so that even unintentionally minors can gamble with the, if you do great idol, why shouldn't I do that or where should I not be allowed to do that then.

But there are still more personalities in the German or German-speaking area who are rummaging in YouTube Twitch & Co on the one hand would be there KS Freak who does not come across particularly yes how can I say intelligently who in an interview on the simple question of what he thinks of Holocaust, did not even know what the Holocaust was or what happened there.

Or even such interesting characters as Apo Red or Leon Machère, who collects one criminal complaint after another for their eight but so funny Prank videos and are in no way aware that they have a responsibility towards their young audience, because they are also role models, because they are also imitated by many.

You could now go even further and bring many examples from the German Asi YouTuber department but that would be just a waste of space because what good is it to get upset?

What I wanted to show with this was that all these persons did not define themselves as role models, but it is still whether they want or not with their reach of sometimes several hundred thousand subscribers they have normally given a responsibility to their mostly minors.

You only notice the influence that these YouTubers have when they have a new product in their fan shop and this is sold out right away, this was certainly bought by their fans and not by Max Mustermann the 0815 guys next door.

Which also got me very angry today, when the post from my acquaintance was how unreflective he dealt with the criticism that was presented against Montana Black. Because this criticism is justified, because not only the public prosecutor's office is interested in his casino streams, but also the German media supervisory authority.

How do you feel about YouTube or streaming like Montana Black, KS Freak and how they are all called?
