In my puberty I often had a discussion with my parents about different areas of life in particular, as far as music is concerned, since I had fallen into electronic music quite early on and my parents were more or less into music of their time, there was always a need for discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Already interesting such discussion and conflicts arose mainly always, when we were on vacation at the North Sea in the caravan where the whole family had time to do something together and so also listen to music together and so there always ran the oldiesender of RTL, the interesting thing had been, after a week my sister and I knew very well which song comes next, because the repertoire at that time was a bit short cracked because only from a certain age, I think it was 20 years?\u00a0Then a song was played and so every year only a certain number of hits from this time were added and so you will very well me which song, where may come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so it happened that you once talked about what music meant in the past and what music means today, what seems important and then my father once said that he does not believe that today's music would be as important as the music of his youth but how should I say it or how should he have said it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was clear to me that even from the techno era certain pieces of certain tracks were so important and so serious for the generation and for the attitude to life, which prevailed at that time, that it is still heard 40 years later and I have to say, when I hear certain pieces from that time today, I think I was so often what is really great what the track is about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am aware that this development of music would never have taken place without the liberation blow that the generation of my parents had with the music, my father was born in 1950, he totally witnessed the 68s at the age of 18, he was someone from there at the time, he was not politically involved in any way, but he enjoyed the time to the fullest, he noticed the great time of the Beatles and the music is still heard a lot today and at Christmas, as usual, there is a Beatles album every year and yes, that will be bought again by many.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though consumption has developed differently these days, a lot of music from my youth is still heard and there are certain songs and certain tracks that still express the feeling of what I had back then and I experience it when I hear it, certainly the way my parents experience it when you hear music from their time or listen to my mother today and there are certainly some parties where I remember it when I stop listening to a certain song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, in the early 1980s there was a New Year's Eve party with my uncle and an aunt of mine where a very specific song was played with this \u2018in the Summer Time \u2026<\/a>\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And what can I say when I hear this song, I immediately think of this party, even if I don't remember anything else from this party, I immediately think that I heard it back then and I think that's possible for many, so that you connect certain events with certain music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I think as long as anyone from my generation lives, the music will be important and the music the feeling about men clearly there are great certain classics that are certainly still worth listening to in 50-60 years, but just like Jimi Hendrix at the Woodstock concert of that one time. song<\/a> has played, so it will also be remembered as at the Loveparade in Berlin at the Victory Column all danced together to electronic techno music<\/p>\n\n\n\n
