Some of you may have seen it or noticed it. I got gray hair!
The theme inspired me by love. Michi from the ‘I mean what’ blog or today ‘RealOnMe’, and she also had the theme that she is slowly getting grey hair. And now I want to add my mustard.
I have had gray hair for a long time. Not on my head, but in my beard. In addition to the gray beard hair, I also have brown, blonde and red and so I have one or the other gray hair on my chest. And it's been for years. But that never bothered me.
Even now, the gray hair does not bother me. Because I think that's part of getting older. I'd rather have gray hair than no hair.
My current girlfriend already has gray hair at a very young age and that with mid-20s. I think that's really bad. But another ex-girlfriend of mine had that too. She was as good as gray when she was 30. But that's genetic, and I don't think there's much you can do about it besides smearing a lot of color on your head or standing by it.
"It looks better"
There are some women on TV who have started wearing their gray hair at some point and I have to say that looks better at one or the other. If you have the right hairstyle, why not? Grey can also be sexy and doesn't have to look like grandma.
I once had a classmate, that's been many years since we were all in our early 20s. He had very little hair on his head. And I thought, I'd rather cut them off. But I would never have the idea to cut my hair because of my gray hair. I have to say I find men with gray hair, look much more interesting. The best example would be George Clooney or earlier Sean Connery.
Since they are open to it and wear the hair as they are, they have simply become more masculine. In addition, I have the feeling that they were always extremely sexy in their time. Before that, it always seemed a bit put on before they wore the hair gray, in my opinion.
So that's what I think. But gray hair is just part of growing old, growing up. The older we get, the more we get them and they are more of a sign of maturity, of experiences. For experience or a sign of wisdom.
When I think of gray hair and wisdom and what you have experienced and so on … Then my parents or my grandparents come to mind first. They were gray and I could always rely on good advice from them. Because they themselves have experienced a lot and were able to report on it.
“The older I get, the greyer I get!”
And so I see this also for me, the older I get, the more gray I get, the more I have experienced. And all the more so, I can share my wisdom with others.
What I experienced doesn't have to be the same as what my parents or grandparents experienced. But I think that I can benefit from it, because I also have the wisdom of my parents and my grandparents ready and I think that's the big advantage of being old or getting older.
More specifically, being gray. The older you get, the grayer you are. All the more you have seen, heard or experienced yourself and have such a rich treasure of experiences.
How do you see that? Or what is your experience in this area? What do you think about getting gray? Write it in the comments, I would be happy.
Your Sasha
