[Music]
0:00:14 – 0:00:18
Hallihallo and welcome to a new edition of the digression.
0:00:18 – 0:00:22
Where I sometimes like to deviate from the topic.
0:00:22 – 0:00:24
Ijo.
0:00:24 – 0:00:26
Puh.
0:00:26 – 0:00:34
I'll tell you what, that was really a few days that I can't use in this form.
0:00:34 – 0:00:41
In addition to all the usual stress in life, there was of course also such stress,
0:00:41 – 0:00:45
This can be quite a big hit on the station,
0:00:45 – 0:00:57
when you are so stressed, stressed in stressful days, stressed in front of you.
0:00:57 – 0:01:00
I think you know what I mean.
0:01:00 – 0:01:07
In addition, I was able to unscrew my toilet from the wall at 3 o'clock tonight,
0:01:07 – 0:01:15
because this holder for such a toilet stone had slipped nicely into it.
0:01:15 – 0:01:21
Great thing. It's great. Right, really good stuff.
0:01:21 – 0:01:25
I say, really good stuff.
0:01:25 – 0:01:29
If you can pull that thing off like that.
0:01:29 – 0:01:33
I am grateful, my father, that I was able to learn all this.
0:01:33 – 0:01:35
He showed me how to do that.
0:01:35 – 0:01:42
Nowadays, it is no longer self-evident that people can or will be shown something like this.
0:01:42 – 0:01:48
I never liked to do gas water shit, I'll tell you what it's like.
0:01:48 – 0:01:52
You've always got it dirty, it's always stunk
0:01:52 – 0:01:58
And if you had made mistakes, the whole house could fly around your ears.
0:01:58 – 0:02:02
I've always found this awful.
0:02:02 – 0:02:06
I found electrical installation, etc., much more pleasant.
0:02:06 – 0:02:11
I am also a trained electrician, among other things.
0:02:11 – 0:02:19
Yes, if you can then do such shit and then just sit down at 3 o'clock at night,
0:02:19 – 0:02:25
First pick up the tool and then the people who know me know,
0:02:25 – 0:02:29
I had a stroke and then had some disabilities.
0:02:29 – 0:02:31
withheld a few problems.
0:02:31 – 0:02:38
I can walk up the stairs without problems with things, but going down is difficult.
0:02:38 – 0:02:40
Generally difficult.
0:02:40 – 0:02:45
So first get down and then get the stuff down,
0:02:45 – 0:02:48
two tool cases and then always put 2-3 steps in front of me,
0:02:48 – 0:02:52
2-3 steps high, 2-3 steps high, etc.
0:02:52 – 0:02:54
And that's where I got the stuff.
0:02:54 – 0:03:01
I can wait until Thursday for my mother to come and have the tool come down.
0:03:01 – 0:03:05
Why did I do this myself and not let anyone come?
0:03:05 – 0:03:08
It's very simple. Love the good money.
0:03:08 – 0:03:12
I mean, that's probably going to cost 80-100 euros.
0:03:12 – 0:03:17
I mean, so alone hourly wages, how to get there and so on.
0:03:17 – 0:03:20
Material is also guaranteed to be due.
0:03:20 – 0:03:24
Any seals that need to be replaced when changing.
0:03:24 – 0:03:27
Yeah, I made it myself.
0:03:27 – 0:03:34
And then the fight that still existed with my partner anyway, on top of it.
0:03:34 – 0:03:39
So that was the crowning conclusion so far for an extremely strenuous,
0:03:39 – 0:03:46
Ah, I mean only one week, that was probably 14 days, where there was a lot of stress.
0:03:46 – 0:03:50
There is stress in the family anyway.
0:03:50 – 0:03:54
I'm someone who can really deal with stress.
0:03:54 – 0:03:58
I mean, it's not for nothing that I would have had a stroke a few years ago.
0:03:58 – 0:04:07
I mean, getting a stroke like this at 40 is a pretty stupid thing.
0:04:07 – 0:04:09
And I mean, that's not an age, that's young.
0:04:09 – 0:04:14
I mean, I know there are younger people, there are even babies who get a stroke at birth.
0:04:14 – 0:04:19
But that's rare. My case is rare too.
0:04:19 – 0:04:25
And as a trained paramedic and also as a geriatric nurse examinated,
0:04:25 – 0:04:31
Thank goodness I had the right feeling for what was happening to me.
0:04:31 – 0:04:34
It was able to react relatively quickly.
0:04:34 – 0:04:39
Even if it was a severe and severe stroke.
0:04:39 – 0:04:45
Due to the fact that I reacted quickly, the damage remained moderate.
0:04:45 – 0:04:47
That's what the letter said.
0:04:47 – 0:04:49
Yes, yes.
0:04:49 – 0:04:55
But it's a sign that I can't handle stress so well.
0:04:55 – 0:05:02
And I don't know if I've told the story before or if I've told it a few times or how many times.
0:05:02 – 0:05:07
I had a stroke at a time when I also had a lot of stress.
0:05:07 – 0:05:12
I had to change my medication because I was 40. Birthday my body meant,
0:05:12 – 0:05:17
He gave me psoriasis and didn't get along with the medication.
0:05:17 – 0:05:20
So mutually reinforcing.
0:05:20 – 0:05:26
And then one had to sneak out and the other could be taken a few days later.
0:05:26 – 0:05:31
And then exactly this weekend, a free weekend where I had no service,
0:05:31 – 0:05:38
Neither in the nursing home nor in the ambulance, I got a stroke.
0:05:38 – 0:05:43
Go to the toilet at 7 a.m. in the morning.
0:05:43 – 0:05:49
As I myself have experienced many times during my activities.
0:05:49 – 0:05:51
Yes, yes.
0:05:51 – 0:05:58
I mean, those are moments when your ass goes downhill because you know exactly what might be blooming for you.
0:05:58 – 0:06:13
And yes, you end up lying in the ambulance quite frightened and becoming aware,
0:06:13 – 0:06:20
that what we are doing here on this bullet is a very limited and one thing,
0:06:20 – 0:06:23
It has an expiration date somewhere.
0:06:23 – 0:06:28
And what happened after that and so on.
0:06:28 – 0:06:35
This is a completely different story for a completely different podcast thing.
0:06:35 – 0:06:43
But what I wanted to do was, I can't handle stress well.
0:06:43 – 0:06:49
And as I said at the beginning, the last time was stress, then tonight all the stress.
0:06:49 – 0:06:57
I lay in bed for another two or three hours until I came down,
0:06:57 – 0:07:04
that I could fall asleep and then at the latest at 11 o'clock I was awake again,
0:07:04 – 0:07:11
Because then my girlfriend had set herself in the alarm clock, because she then had another appointment.
0:07:11 – 0:07:19
Then you sit there and you have the problem that you're tired all day
0:07:19 – 0:07:25
and then you're also stressed because you're just stressing yourself on the whole and on the whole
0:07:25 – 0:07:32
and stressed here and stressed there and it stresses you and it stresses you and it stresses you.
0:07:32 – 0:07:38
Then you talk to your mother on the phone, then you get a message from your sister,
0:07:38 – 0:07:45
that you're shitting too and that your future ex-boyfriend is just stressed out
0:07:45 – 0:07:54
And you think so, what a shit and you can do in the end little against this stress.
0:07:54 – 0:07:59
I mean, well, I was able to march off with a sawed-off shotgun sinter
0:07:59 – 0:08:04
and solve the problem stationary,
0:08:04 – 0:08:09
But in the end, other stress would come back.
0:08:09 – 0:08:15
And that would be much bigger and more complicated than the problem there.
0:08:15 – 0:08:28
But the thing I mean is, can't just be a time where there's calm, harmony and so on
0:08:28 – 0:08:32
And I don't mean this artificial harmony for Christmas.
0:08:32 – 0:08:36
No, I really mean harmony.
0:08:36 – 0:08:39
We had the pandemic.
0:08:39 – 0:08:42
I mean, it wasn't exactly rosy before, but okay.
0:08:42 – 0:08:46
We had the pandemic, then the shit was over,
0:08:46 – 0:08:56
Then came the war in Ukraine and all of a sudden prices exploded everywhere, no matter where, no matter what area.
0:08:56 – 0:09:04
And you sit there and think like this, the pandemic wasn't bad enough and now all the shit
0:09:04 – 0:09:14
and then there's my sister's future divorce up there and everywhere and so on
0:09:14 – 0:09:20
and you have a construction site here and a construction site there, then you cramp into the wool with your partner
0:09:20 – 0:09:33
and because of nothing and I just wished for a time, a week, two weeks, maybe even a month,
0:09:33 – 0:09:36
Where there would be peace and harmony.
0:09:36 – 0:09:44
That can't go there and just pop in any psychotropic and psychoactive substances all the time,
0:09:44 – 0:09:52
So that you are somehow on a level with yourself and the universe, on which there is no stress.
0:09:52 – 0:09:57
If you do this for so long, then you are guaranteed to have a lot of other problems,
0:09:57 – 0:10:07
But it would be really desirable to have a time when you really have no trouble and no stress.
0:10:07 – 0:10:16
I mean, I've seen what stress can lead to and not optimal medication.
0:10:16 – 0:10:18
So much for that.
0:10:18 – 0:10:23
I don't know now to what extent I've deviated greatly from the subject here,
0:10:23 – 0:10:28
but we know that the digression is there for you to deviate from the topic
0:10:28 – 0:10:34

0:10:59 – 0:11:08
So, thank you for listening and until next time there is a digression again.

Description:
‘Welcome to a captivating edition of “deviation”: A look into my world of thoughts, where drifting away from the mainstream theme is an art form. In the past few days, so much has happened that has presented me with challenges. In addition to the everyday stress factors, particularly intense moments have brought me to my limits. Can you imagine facing an unexpected problem in the middle of the night at 3 a.m. – my toilet was detached from the wall and demanded my craftsmanship expertise. In such moments, long-forgotten memories of my days as an electrician come back to life.
In a reflection on this event, I become aware of how valuable the craftsmanship skills I learned from my father are. Dealing with sanitary facilities was never my passion – it was dirty and uncomfortable. But on that special night, I was able to draw on my acquired skills and carry out the repair myself. Why didn't I just call an expert, you ask? Quite simply: the finances. Given my hectic days, the last thing I needed was a costly bill.
In addition, there was a dispute with my partner, which increased the tension even more. All of this has inspired me to think about how I deal with stress. This became particularly clear to me when I suffered a stroke some time ago. Back then, as a paramedic and elderly caregiver, I was able to react quickly based on my experience. This event has taught me how elementary it is to manage stress and take care of yourself.
Over the past few weeks, stress has continued to build up, whether through personal affairs or global events such as the pandemic and international tensions. A desire for peace and harmony has arisen, for a time when the stress settles and a deep breath is possible. Sure, in the long run, stress management drugs are not a solution, but I dream of a time without worries.
If you fancy more of these thoughts, I invite you to check out my homepage: www.lautfunk.de. There are various formats and exclusive content waiting for you. Your feedback is always welcome – leave a like or comment. Thank you for listening and until the next “detour” where I take you back on a journey through my thoughts. Goodbye!”
