Relationships are a fascinating phenomenon. In the course of my life, I have already had some relationships, be it with my parents or with my sister. These relationships are familiar to all of us, as are relationships with relatives such as grandparents, aunts and uncles. They are predetermined and we have no choice. But then there are the relationships we can choose – friendships. Friendships are also relationships that are not predetermined. We consciously choose with whom we enter into these relationships. And then there are the relationships that we enter into over the course of our lives, especially romantic relationships, but that's a theme of its own.
